Since Boothbay Home Builders started over 30 years ago, it has enjoyed positive growth, along with the challenges and successes that are inevitable in business. Knickerbocker Woodworking was started in 1985, Knickerbocker Design in 1990 and most recently Knickerbocker Home Services in 2006. Owner, Steve Malcom, decided that in order to simplify systems, decision-making, purchasing power, management and promotion of their efforts, all operations became consolidated as of January 1, 2009.
‘Knickerbocker Group’ – not an unfamiliar name to you – is the organizational title. The management team, crews, office staff and location will remain the same; as will the process of operations. The consolidation however will involve subtle changes to the phone directory, signage, and advertisements. Steve and his crew thank you all for your trust and support, with hopes that 2009 is full and meaningful for us all.
